GameCake
Role: Production Associate and Content Designer
I started out as an intern at GameCake and was hired full time upon graduating from USC. During my time at GameCake I worked Emoji Charades, a trivia game where you describe secret trivia phrases only you can see, using the 64 emojis that you're given.
The game is downloaded on your phone and that turns into the typer device, then you connect the game to either your Apple TV or Chromecast which turns into the guesser device. It is a game for a group of people to play together.
My responsibilities as an intern were content design and playtesting. As a Production Associate, I helped manage the game and plan production sprints. I learned a lot about game production and even more about starting up a company.
