#LoveTheGameChangeTheName was a rapid response campaign for the 2024 Superbowl by IllumiNative. The goal was to create a Super Bowl activation that draws attention to the Kansas City Chiefs name controversy in a new and unexpected way to cut through the negativity and noise. By featuring joyous Native engagement in football culture (and Taylor Swift culture!), we aimed to build a bridge with non-Natives and make space for them to engage with our perspective.
