100 Years of American Indian Citizenship
I played a key role in the IllumiNative campaign to celebrate 100 Years of Native Citizenship , leading research, content development, and community engagement for this campaign.
I researched, wrote, edited, and curated all pieces for the historical timeline, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. To refine our messaging, I organized focus groups and evaluated feedback. I also collaborated with partner organizations to coordinate a Day of Action on social meida, marking the anniversary of the Indian Citizenship Act.
Beyond content creation, I led my team in a multi-artist digital exhibition, developing artist prompts and briefs, conducting outreach to Native artists nationwide, and collaborating to showcase their completed works. Additionally, my team coordinated an in-person art show and live performances at the event titled "Count Our Votes: The Power of Native Voices" in Washington, D.C., bringing the campaign’s themes to life beyond the digital space.

This curated exhibit showcased multifaceted interpretations of Tribal and U.S. citizenship through the lens of Native identity, history, and tradition. Touching on the complex and enduring connections to our land, communities, and cultures, the diverse perspectives from Native artists across the Nation raise questions about belonging, self- determination, pain, and power.
